Judy Schneider (grandmother of Haylee from Troop #3055) has become a big supporter of the efforts to improve Camp Nawakwa as a volunteer with Our Nawakwa. The Mary E. Marshall building on the property has a basement that will become the Sara and Haylee Art Hollow. Judy wanted to provide new ways for campers to express their creativity, which was something Haylee, Haylee’s mother (Sara), and Jayna all loved to do when they stayed at Camp Nawakwa. A $5,000 donation was made to Our Nawakwa in loving memory of these 3 beautiful souls. The funds will be used to replace the flooring and purchase many supplies in the camp’s art area. Helping Judy present the check to Our Nawakwa were Brenda Jones (Haylee’s aunt) and Jessica Jones (Haylee’s cousin).
