This donation was led by Katrina Killough and Kya Curtis. They wanted to donate to the Lake Hallie Memory Care to provide money for activities for the residents. This could be for field trips, animal therapy or materials to help enrich the lives of those living with memory loss.

Katrina understands memory loss after spending time with her Grandma who lived in a similar facility. She and her church also volunteered at Lake Hallie Memory Care and saw the potential of a donation. The connection between elderly and children is important and both groups have so much to learn from each other and offer each other. That is not lost on us!
