Nadine and James Welch, parents of Aliyah from Troop #3055, chose The Ronald McDonald House in Marshfield, WI. The Welch’s experienced first hand what it’s like to stay in a room at this facility and it has a special place in their hearts. The $5,000 gift from our foundation will be used to “Adopt-A-Room”, which means one of the guest rooms will house a family for free for an entire year while their hospitalized child receives medical treatment. This helps relieve stress and financial burden, improves psychological well-being because the family can be close to the child, and gives them much needed sleep, all in a caring and supportive environment.

There is also a “Deck the Halls for a Cause” sponsorship opportunity and our Foundation is going to be the main sponsor of this event. We hope this will make the holidays even brighter for the guests and families staying at the house. Thank you Noah and Aliyah for helping your mom present the check to such an amazing place!
