Christina and Barry Laska, parents of Ivy from Troop #3055, chose the Open Door Clinic in Chippewa Falls. This non-profit provides basic health care services and a connection to community resources for Chippewa Valley residents who are without a healthcare alternative. This clinic does not discriminate and is open for walk-in patients from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm every Tuesday (except holidays). Many volunteers help make this possible each week. There is even a contracted psychiatrist available via telehealth on the first three Tuesdays of every month during clinic hours and bilingual counseling throughout the week.

Our $5,000 donation will go to ongoing costs of providing these services including medications and medical supplies for their patients, who are often low-income or uninsured.
